This is not the same Axe 100 CP that pilots already know. It's the Axe 100 SS (Super Sport Brushless), the one that everyone will be flying in the future. It retains the flybarless collective-pitch head design and TAGS three-axis gyro of the CP, but adds a brushless power system and an extended tail boom for achieving 3D mastery. Available in an RTF version for the maximum ease, and another that offers the full potential and flexibility of Tx-R (Transmitter-Ready) flying!

  • Hidden wiring and connectors offer easy hookup and a clean, untouched look.
  • Brushless-powered for handling the most demanding stunts.
  • Beefed-up airframe molded to accommodate the demands of brushless power.
  • Individual controller and servos maximize performance and simplify replacement.
  • Extended tail boom for improved tail authority.
  • Dependable, responsive motor-driven tail rotor
  • Ideal for indoor and outdoor flying.

flybarless head

The flybarless collective-pitch rotor head is mechanically simpler, with fewer parts than flybar designs. It not only offers more durability and efficiency, but a wider flight envelope as well.

digital servos

Rotary-drive, digital servos offer added speed and precision and are fully encased to improve impact resistance and durability.

TAGS

All-axis heli control!

TAGS does more than any single-axis gyro; it stabilizes on all three axes simultaneously. It's also specially tuned to the performance characteristics of each Heli-Max heli, to deliver the best in precise, simple control. In flight, it effectively neutralizes the impact of wind and other outside forces on handling, so you can enjoy smoother maneuvering and easier hovering indoors, or out. Once you've experienced TAGS, you won't ever want to fly without it!

The Axe 100 SS frame features a traditional design for easy maintenance, and reinforcement at key points for added strength and rigidity.

large main gear

The large-diameter main gear is attached to the hollow steel main shaft with a screw to prevent movement.

More ease. More choices. More fun.

Why go with a Tx-R? Glad you asked.

Start with speed and ease. Tx-R aircraft help you save time and get you to the flight line faster. They're assembled and finished and all onboard electronics are installed …including an SLT receiver. Take a Tx-R out of the box, and you're practically ready to fly. Now that's fast and easy.

Add flexibility to the mix. With a Tx-R, you don't have to buy a special radio to fly.
That's because all Tx-R aircraft come with an SLT receiver. And since they do, you have two very attractive choices.

One, you can fly a Tx-R with a 2.4GHz SLT radio system from Tactic or other manufacturer. Just look for a radio with an "SLT" logo; that tells you they're 100% compatible with the receivers in all Tx-R aircraft.

However, you may already have a favorite transmitter and don't want to give up. That brings up choice #2: the Tactic AnyLink2. Attach it to your transmitter and it does something amazing: it broadcasts a true 2.4GHz signal that any SLT receiver can pick up. It works with virtually all transmitters, regardless of brand, band or modulation. And it not only costs less than a new radio; it costs less than many (ital) receivers. (end ital)

For ease, economy, choices and more fun, there's nothing like Tx-R.
